PodTracker Guides
Privacy notice
A concise description of the information PodTracker Guides serves and the anonymous outbound-click events it may record.
PodTracker Guides serves public articles without requiring an account, profile, newsletter signup, or comment identity.
Guide visits
The guide publishing layer is static. Its article pages do not need cookies or browser storage to display the text. As with most web services, infrastructure providers may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the service. This notice describes the guide application’s own product-click record, not the separate policies of a hosting provider or destination website.
Outbound product clicks
When JavaScript is available, selecting a product link may send a background event to PodTracker. The browser navigates directly to the merchant whether that event succeeds, fails, or is blocked.
The event is limited to a random event identifier, a known product slug, the validated local page path, a controlled placement label, a transport label, and a merchant name resolved from PodTracker’s product record. The application does not place the destination URL, raw query text, email address, cookie identifier, full referrer, or purchaser information in that click row.
The random identifier prevents one browser activation from being counted twice. It is not joined to a customer profile. Local click counts are approximate interest measurements; PodTracker cannot use them to identify who purchased an item.
External sites
Product, source, podcast, and social links open services operated by others. Those services receive a request when you visit and apply their own terms and privacy policies. Review the destination’s policy if you want to understand its collection and choices.
The contact page will publish the working privacy and corrections address before the Guides section is released.
